i remember seeing Whitney in the pages of Young Miss magazine (before it was YM) and then seeing her first video (for “How Will I Know?”) and recognizing her. This has always been my favorite Whitney song and video; I especially love the Funny Face part. I’m sorry your life got so crazy, Whitney. I wish you’d been able to hold on to that sweet girl in the leather jacket.
